How DOC Regenerator recovers files.
The software scans your source disk (the disk where lost or corrupted files were stored) and finds file fragments - different parts of Microsoft Word documents, physically stored on the disk. It ignores file system; therefore it works with all versions of FAT and NTFS and recovers documents even from lost, deleted partitions or reformatted disks. After scanning is finished, analyzing by means of Microsoft Word begins. At this stage the system actually converts file fragments to original files that may be saved to disk.
